Darran is a 38 year veteran professional photographer, photo educator and guide. He has guided and tutored in over 400 tours, seminars and workshops all over the world. Darran is a multi award winning photographer with his work published in countries as far away as Japan, England and the USA.

He has supplied images to Australian Geographic and has been commissioned by Qantas, Warner Brothers, the Queensland Government, Australia Post, Steve Parish Publishing and many other companies to supply unique images.

He is a regular contributor to Australian Photography Magazine.

7-10 AM - Penguin Island Photo Shoot.

Meet at ‘Pengo’s’ - 6:30 AM

Penguin Island is a Natures Mecca close to Perth, Western Australia.  Located off Shoalwater in Rockingham, Penguin Island is a Nature Reserve with a huge concentration of birds, pelicans and penguins that ensures you will leave with iconic images, whilst enjoying fun shooting in the field.

Price includes a early start on the Ferry (normally first ferry leaves at 8:30 am) allowing exclusivity.

Darran will offer you a challenge and review each photographers results.
